ok, so got everything off just fine, but when i go to re-install the balancer, i find my torque wrench clicks when i think it shouldn't. it's set on 120lbs as steeda recommends so i guess my problem is i don't have enough experience with the wrench to know just how it's supposed to work! could i just wrench tighten the bolt or is the torque critical? anybody feel like helping out a doofus like me?

Torque it.

120lbs on a 1/2in drive 18 inch long Tq wrench doesn't take a lot of force.

If you question it, go to autozone and get a loaner one to double check yours or find someone with more exprience to check it.

obvoiusly, it will take some force to seat the balancer on the crank, so do i use the torque wrench only to tighten the bolt and stop tightening when it clicks, or do i tighten it up most of the way with a regular wrench then switch to the t/w? sorry! i know i sound stupid but i just want to make sure i do it right!
