Pro-cal mileage on 2013 GT

Had local dealer load my Pro-cal tune on my 2013 GT at 12,000 miles. I do notice much better throttle response (and the occassional ping). However, I was hoping mileage would increase by 1-2 mpg. I do have the Track Pack with 3.73 gears, but my mileage is checking the same to even 1/2 mpg less than before.

Anything I need to check on the Pro Cal?

Your not gonna gain mpg from most tunes.

Your right foot is happier with the tune, so that is going to cost you more at the pump. FWIW, I went on a short trip and only averaged 21mpg on the hwy with the cruise on 78mph. Procal/3.73's as well.

My car gets 17.5 mpg's per tank (reset computer with each fill up) with a 50/50 mix of city/hwy driving.

I have the procal as well and I'm averaging about 22-23mpg with 50/50 driving with the occasional 0-40 blast. But a week ago on a full tank I made a 320 mile trip and still had a 1/4 tank left with the comp. reading 25.6mpg thats cruising at 70mph. I have the auto with 3.15 gears

I have 3.55s and average 15-17MPG. If fuel economy is something that concerns you, a v6 would have been a better choice.

V8 is always the better choice. They can get the milage with a good tune. Aed has an eco tune you may want to look into.
