I had to remove my shifter and I unfortunately lost one of the metal springs inside in the process. I called pro 5.0 today and he told me that the only way he will send it is for $25. I'm a poor college student, how else can I get one of these springs that I really need?

I hope I can find something at ace that will work. This spring is a heavy compression, and has flat ends.

what really pissed me off was that when I called the guy he said " you arent supposed to take them apart''. Well the install instructions require the top to be taken off to install the shifer. Then he went on about how he almost went bankrupt by sending nuts and bolts out, trying to offer customer service. He said that its a special spring he uses and he shouldnt even sell it, but his minimum order charge is $25 dollars. I wish I had a mgw.
