Blocked off my new piping and performed pressure testing. Found my HPX e maf has a hole where the connector plugs in by the pins coming out. Is this normal?

Make sure the little rubber grommet is under the sensor where it goes in. Should look like a little accordion.

Thanks for the replies. I have the seal to the bottom of the flange of the maf to the piping. It’s leaking inside the connector housing where you actually plug in the pig tail. Strange not sure if it’s normal or not. It’s a tiny hole drilled by them across from the a pin. It’s weird

Maybe it's there to balance the pressure on both sides of the MAF. Was it a pretty substantial leak?

finally got a call back from them and they said it’s to release moisture buildup and said when it’s plugged in the leak is pretty much nothing
