Preparing for a 1500.00 Race

At the end of the month I will be racing a minimum of 2 SRT4's at E-Town on April 28.

One has a best time of 12.8, The other has a best time of 13.0.

12.8 Car will be racing for 1000.00
13.0 Car will be racing for 500.00

Yesterday didnt turn out too well, I only got in one run and got cheated on that. So I dont know what my current quarter mile time is. My guesstimate would be 13.0.

First time out on Drag Radials also, YES Finally something that hooks.

These guys have really big ego's and I need to put them in there place.

Have to pay all of my monthly bills this week, so I will only have money for my IRS Brace & Subframe Brackets.
- What do you guys launch at with these parts on

I drop off my car on April 11 to get my D1SC thrown on, and pick it up on 14,
Then it is straight to the track to see what I can do.

May also be another SRT4 running for 250.00 but not too worried I think his best time is a 13.5.

well I would say without the pro charger it would take a good amount of driving skill, I am not sure what other mods you have but it would be close.

But with the pro charger I dont think you will have any issues

Try to get out to the track again and see what you run without the blower. I am pretty sure with a good driver 99,01 cobra are low-mid 13 seconds cars, I think? So with a supercharger you should be into the twelves easily, God willing, you don't break something during a race.

Try to make your Cobra as light as possible.

Agreed....both probably are 11 second cars

sup man they are right an srt4 with a big turbo does alot better than 13.0 and 12.8. I am guessing in the 11's if they putting up money I use to have the car so I know. I still have to get that fuel pump form u ill call u this week sorry been busy good luck!

take your pass. seat out, all your spare tire equipment, backseat, run seafoam through it this week, then run it empty and put good gas in it, clean your filter, ice your intake, and practicce launching in different environments. different pavement, get it so you will be able to adapt at the track.

Working on the driving mods,

beside my suspension components, i have LT headers, OR Xpipe. CAI, Throttle Body, Custom Exhaust.

If I were a very smart racer, I'd put a recent video up on youtube showing that I run 12.8 and 13.0, and make sure everyone knows that.....
when I really run 10.5.

Then I'd make a 1500 bet with a 12.5 car.

That would also be my idea, but like I said they are cocky ricers who think they have the fastest cars in our area.
