I'm getting my first custom tune for my car today, just wondering how long it takes for the car to "learn" the new tune.

Reason I'm asking, is because I was planning on dynoing pretty soon.

Peter-

Your not looking for a Predator learn time, but a computer learn time. Just a minor point, but if you ever unhook the battery, I would suggest within 20 miles or so of driving (mixed highway / street) your computer will most likely have adapted to any changes you have made.

The predator changes timiing and fuel which will take effect the first time you hit WOT. I dont think there is any learning time. The only learning i believe the car does is idle RPM levels.. The predator tunes shouldnt need learning time...

Your probably right, but if your loading a tune into the computer, I would still take the time, drive it araound and let it adapt to new settings. Couldn't hurt.

Thanks, I just got off the phone with the dyno shop, and they said their wideband went bad, and the new one should be here tomorrow.
