Predator Install Question??

OK...stupid question, but I know I'll get an answer. I was reading the Cobra Predator manual. It doesn't tell you if you need to turn the ignition to the "on" position when using it. Does the predator automatically turn on when you plug it in the OBDII port? I notice the Predator doesn't use batteries. Do you flash the computer with no key in the ignition and the car completely off? Thanks.

The Predator will give you instructions telling you when to turn the key off/on. Just plug it in and you'll see...
