Predator experts..chime in please

Okay folks...

Just want to make sure I got the fuel and timing adjustments right. If I want to make my A/F richer I move the Predator to Rich on the scale even thought the percentage goes all the way to a -15%.

On the timing, if I want to retard the timing I'm going to go with a negative percent too.

Did a first run with the pulley tune (2.93, CAI and maggies) and had some pinging at 5lbs boost. Drove around a little more and seemed to have lessened.

Just want to make sure I got the settings going the right way.

Advice appreciated.

Off the subject, but where are you located? I'm just wondering if maybe the pinging is related to the gas. I know California folks can't get 93 like we can here in MD. I no three people that have used the Predator with know pinging, including myself.

Get a custom tune, all the tunes the Predator comes with are pretty crappy. :)

Slider adjustments to the left are for richening A/F and retarding timing. I would suggest loading the pulley tune. Then richen by 15% and retard by 10% until you can get to a dyno. That should take care of your pinging.
