I have a question for SVT Focus members.

I have a 2002 SVT Focus 3 door and am thinking of getting a Powerworks S/C for it. My question is....i have 85K miles on it and was wondering if getting the S/C kit is worth it on the car with that many miles?

Thanks

J

Well are you prepared to fix things if they were to break? Not knowing the exact status of your motor/drivetrain you must be prepared for anything.

From what I hear, if you plan on installing any forced induction on a not-new engine, a rebuild is in order. The additional compression will take advantage of any leaks or worn parts in the motor. You also might want to take this time to replace the pulleys. While you're at it, during the rebuild you might as well port and polish that thing!
