just nought a 99 lightning and non of the power locks work. when i press the button all i hear is the relay clicking and nothing happens. where is the power window relay on this truck? i also read something about the acuators resistors going bad and there being a way to fix them. but first i will see if the relay is bad, really wish this truck would of still had the owners manual.

Same problem,occasionally driver's side works.Bumping for interest.
You need to replace the actuators. This is a common problem in 2000 and older Fords. There was a re-design done in '01 or so to correct the problem. The new ones won't look the same as the old ones and they are not cheap, in the range of $60 each. I cannot remember where I saw it but there was a how to. I did both on my buddie's 99 L, first one took about 45 minutes, second one less than 20.
I have the same problem. . . Drivers side on a 2000 L.
