Will postponing the courtdate for a speeding ticket , increase chances of the officer NOT coming to court? Or, will the new courtdate be scheduled on a day when he's already due in court?
The ticket was for 74 in a 55 arlington county VA. Any advice can help.

Thanks

Continuance? Don't in GA

Judges see past the "officer failed to come to court" defense on continuance you asked for. Here if you get one..and my officer fails to show..I get a continuance to have him/her at next hearing. If judge thinks you have done that to get out of ticket...you get hammered if you're found guilty..always max fine here..no lowering of speed to save points...If you're a juvenile here...you also loose your license..

See....you're not as clever as you think....every trick you can think of, we've already seen. Just cowboy up and go to court, trying to be sneaky will just get you hammered. :)
