Post your aftermarket wings/spoilers

The Boss is a very tricky car when it comes to spoilers. And I only realized that when I began to search for one to put on my 13 PW.

For example: a PW Boss with black GT500 wing looks terrible

while on the other hand, CO and RR look great with the same combo wing

Body painted GT500 wing on PW looks awesome but the same cant be said with GHIG...

and KB just looks great with anything

Not a Boss but you can pretty much visualize what a body painted GT500 wing would look like on a Boss

This is just my opinion on the combination of wings. Bosses with aftermarket spoilers are pretty rare online let alone in person. GT500 wings and the LC/GTCS spoiler is by far the most popular. I have thought about getting the ROush 3 piece but Idont know how it'll look with the decals

For the track I love the G-stream wing.....but I won't be driving on the streets with that thing lol. So I've been eyeballing the Steeda wing right now.

I've had the Steeda wing in my garage since 2012 for my LS, just haven't had the time to get around to paint and install it. I had it posted for sale, but I changed my mind once I saw the wing on the "Streetfighter" in person at Mustang Week last July....

Wow that looks clean. I like the whole RTR rear (spoiler, deck lid and plate surround). Does the Boss have holes under the spoiler or is it just 3M tape?

That spoiler doesn't look like it matches the paint very well. Probably the biggest problem with matching paint on Kona Blue.

I thought the same but it really works in person. I also love the bit that lays flat on the trunk it all just seems to work. at least it did on white.

It matches perfectly, it's the angle. KB takes on different shades depending how the sunlight hits it.

I know because I held the spoiler at the same angle of the car panel and it was damn near exact after a test fit with it sitting at its 40 deg or so angle giving it a different color.


I was going to go RTR but I was concerned it was to thin if you looked at the cars profile, I was wrong that RTR looks awesome!

Bought a slightly used RTR spoiler last night. Is there a certain grade 3M tape that should be used when installing or is the standard stuff you get at autozonw okay?

autozone stuff should be fine. you have 2 bolts doing most of the work.

I understand about the angles and reflection of the KB...I've got a KB GT.

Looks like it's painted Vista Blue. The part in front of the gurney flap should be about same color since it sits at about the same angle in your pic. I haven't seen an aftermarket painted part match the factory KB paint very well in person. I'm picky about paint though...
