What do the rear edge of aftermarket hoods look like, i.e. Cobra R, 00 Cobra R, etc.?
Are they vented, solid, designed to be cut out for air movement?

i know the cobra R hoods are solid and painted matte black to help prevent reflection from the sun into your eyes
My HO fibertrends (95R style)is closed, Cervinis is open and I believe comes with a screen. I've thought about opening mine, but wonder what effects it will have on it.

not all the 00R hoods are solid. Mine came from Niche industries and has functional vents. In the summer, you can see the heat coming out. It has a removable cap to close to vents off is it's rainy. Sorry, I can't post pics yet, but it's my Avatar.
Have your painter do the matte black on the backside. I forgot to mention it to mine, and the glare is horrible, it shines right in your eyes.
Mines carbon fiber.
