I never understood why people would want to make there lights DARKER at night.
I bought HIDs because my clear lights are too dim. lol

I really wanted to get smoked, but for the reason you stated I won't be. My friend bought smoked head lights and his high beams weren't even the power of a low beam and I think he had installed sylvanias. Don't get me wrong it looks flippin sick, but I think I am going to go ultra clears for me haha

albino96, I'll be waiting to see your pics.

I'm not a big fan of darkies on white cars. Clear looks better IMO.

I'm eventually going for a black/white look on my car. I do like clear to. I wouldnt replace them if the current ones weren't blue :bored:

i am running an HID Kit already i am just looking accent the front of the car as already have the rear lights in black housing and the windows tinted over the black wheels

I would steer away from tinted headlights and HIDs.
I've seen pics and the lights look green. Yuck.
Maybe, if anything, try the lights with the clear lense and black housing.

Here are mine..

I just noticed this thread when I was doing a search for another topic. I bought my smoked headlights/foglights combo from Blue Oval Industries. In this pic, they are just placed for test fitting and not yet installed. The car still needs the '03 Cobra mirrors taken off for black paint to match the top, the hood nostrils painted, plus more wet sanding, additional clear coats, and buffing before it comes home. (And the foglights in the pic are factory...how bad they looked after the new House Of Kolor paint was what convinced me to buy new lights). But it should give you some idea of how the smoked lights look.

Are those blueovals coolguy? Those don't look as dark as others I've seen. I like how those look not so dark though, or is it just because on black they do not look as dark?

Ya there blue oval. I have a feeling its because of the angle and the car being black. They are about the same as what wythor's are.

Nice orange Melissa! I had a Formula Firebird the same shade but it looks better on the Cobra.
