Im going to look at a base 2011 gt 6spd, anything i should be looking for in particular? Havent had a mustang in a few years and dont have a clue about anything on the new 5.0. Just want to make the right choice. Thanks Mike

Yes. And also the premium 400a pkg. gets you sync and very nice gauges.
I think the OP has his mind made up on a certain car which is a base GT and he is asking if there are any issues he should be aware of.
As far as issues i would question why the owner is selling it. I'm assuming it is used. Make sure it hasn't had any of the reported transmission problems because a lot of early build 2011's have had transmission issues such as grinding, popping out of gear, and pressure plate bolts backing out. Most of them are build dates 05/10 and earlier... if i'm not mistaken. CHeck the build date on the door seal and make sure.

Be sure to go over the body good before you leave the lot. Look for any type of paint defects or damage such as runs or trash in the paint and dents.
