This is on a 2005 Mustang GT...
Alright so Im getting my car remotely tuned by Brooks Speed, and during the process of it Eric tells me I might have a vacuum leak because my Short term fuel trims on both banks are ~+15% each. So I grab a scan tool from my work and verify that yes my car is trying to make up for a leak.
Now my problem, I have sprayed brakeleen all over the vacuum lines, throttle body and intake manifold gaskets, no change in idle or on the scan tool. I do have a C&L intake manifold, 60lbs injectors, and the car is procharged.
Anyone have any ideas? I know there is a bottom plate on the intake manifold thats bolted on and can be taken off if needed to be cleaned which could cause a possible vacuum leak but that is hard to get to with spraying brakeleen.
Ill be trying a "boost leak test" and Evap/smoke test in the next couple days. Anyone have any ideas on direction to go?
