My car has what appears to be a failing lifter...when cold started it clicks loudly and after a breif warm up it quiet. Its on the passanger side in the middle of the head. How much Money are we talking about to change the lifters?

It would be faster to pull the engine then fight with using the R/R tools in the car IMO........

Well the noise got worse..it a definite knock at cylinder #2..if i pull coil the noise lessens . It still run without any noticible miss but definitely got a full time knock. Suppose its time to look at the pistons. Hope there is not any cylinder damage.
