I'm want to make more power(500+)and cool the intake charge in the process.

I like the idea of installing an alcohol injection kit because of the low cost and ease of installation.

Porting the stock intake is also an option but it is more involved and will cost a bit more when all is said and done.

What are your opinions in regards to these mods??? Should I do one before the other or should I just bite the bullit and do both???

Anybody out there break the 500 RWHP mark without going with a port???

I'm currently 466 to the wheels on a Dynojet.

Thanks...

Later...Dave

I would go with getting the Eaton ported. From what I've heard about injection kits most people don't pick up no more then 5-10hp at best. I suppose it's good insurance to help keep the air charge temps lower but as for power it's a waste of money.

Cool...

How much did you gain going with the port and supporting mods???

What are your current numbers???

Thanks...

Never had it on the dyno after (best before was 460rwhp 510rwtq) but i took my best trap speed before and after the port plus my race weight and figured rwhp (rpmoutlet has calculator online). The numbers which should be pretty accurate showed me picking up 54rwhp and i believe it. Fuel mods are BAP set to 30%, wire upgrade and PPRV removed and 60# injectors (Mafia also).
