ouch, but considering you'll never have to worry about it again, it's well worth it. Good choice on parts!

Ouch. But at least you are a good sport about it. I wonder why they broke. My friend's 88 stang that we ran it every sat for 3 months on 26x10 slicks, mac upper and lowers and drag springs, and launch at 5grand on a 150 shot never even made a peep. It had stock axles and 3.73s too. Oh well. Sounds like a real nice set up you have now. Good luck.

You and your friend are lucky. Not many people can make that live on slicks once, yet alone all year!

Yea we are. Stock engine except the T-Body, and stock T-5. We pulled the engine to check it out, and you could still the the cross hatches in the mains! Only thing allowing the trans to live was that we used a stock replacement clutch.

It doesn't hurt as bad now.

Time will tell if I made the right decisions on the parts:thumbsup:

Man I would hope not! That wouldn't look good on Fords behalf, especially if the car was bone stock in addition to the stock tires.

I am going to try and make it to the 1/8 mile track wednesday night(15 mins from home). I will try and make it to a 1/4 this weekend.

I made it out last night. It was hot and humid, did not get the times I wanted.

My best was 13.156 @ 108.75

I could not do any better than 8.6 in the 1/8:bash:

Gotta get more experience and play with my new additions to find out where to set everything.
