Ok guys long story..I have a built lightning motor in my mustang.i bought and adapter plate to use it on the L engine. 20 mins of run time it locks up :( FML

I spoke with steigmeier,Brett@joker ports, and Jon bond just to get as many different opinions.they all said the case can be repaired.

One of the bearings failed,so you need to put new bearings in the case also.

Finally the good..I spent $3300.00 on this blower it's polished, ported, elbow has been ported and egr shaved/deleted it has metco quick change hub on it also.

So new bearings and rotors and you have a polished TVS.

I usually have a price in mind but I'm not sure,I want as much as I can get I really lost my ass on this:( I would atleast like to get half of my money back.the polishing job is show quality

That's some really bad luck, so you had bad bearings in both blowers? I wonder if those gouges inside the case will effect anything. The polished case looks awesome and if the inside gouges don't affect anything you should have no problem selling. I wish I was in the market for a polished TVS but mines powder coated and I can't invest anymore in the blower. Here's a free bump for you, sorry about your crappy luck and GLWS.

Wow... I would not let that company that did the work touch any more blowers

So you know the whole story?

One of the blowers was never touched

So now e have worked blower and a stock blower both locked up

That red one is my personal TVS I donated to him because I did the work on the first blower and I thought I was at fault. But when mine locked up. Something was serious. With a little knowledge and research before pointing fingers. I discovered why. Then I came up with a solution.

That company was me. I lost money on this. 3 grand to be exact. Tell me any other blower company who would of ate 3 grand to keep a customer happy or try to.

Yes it makes me sick to my stomach that t turned I to this

Brett you went above and beyond to help me.i appreciate it very much

I blame the main cause on the adapter plate.after talking to a metal specialist and hearing his insight on how soft the 6065 aluminum is,I truly believe this is the problem.it needs to be made out of aircraft grade or stainless.at this point I just want to try and recoup some funds

What's a new set of rotors worth? Can't be too much? Less than 1000 I would think installed.

There was a member on here that had a rotor pack for $600.00

The fact that this happened to 2 mint condition blowers not only makes me sick, but has also made me rethink my whole setup.

I am done with the adapter plate.I would have loved to see what the tvs could do,but I can't justify it.i went ahead and bought a whipple that bolts right on

Adapter plate? Are you talkinv manifold adapter? If so how does that cause that damage?

Maybe, bound up the rotor pack?..or warped adapter plate?Plate not strong enough to take the load from the belt?..anyway,way to stand behind your products JorkerzL...nice polish job also!

I spoke to bds superchargers and they said they can repair the blower.(apparently they have all the necessary tooling needed) they said it would be about 8 hours labor.

So I am considering having it repaired and then it's should sell.of course labor receipts will be included with the blower
