I have an aeroforce gauge going in this weekend but I was wondering about the PLX.

That's a pretty interesting device. Depending on what you want to see, it might not handle it. The Aeroforce can capture data outside of OBDII (Called enhanced), and that says it can capture only OBDII (26 pids to be exact). You will possibly lose spark knock, and others.
