I am looking at a 2002 lightning, silver in color with 82k miles... its in great shape,located at a dealer, drives geat, idles perfectly no odd noises... has exhaust and and pully...

They want 12,999 for the truck, kbb retail is at 15k

Carfax is clean


Is 82k miles too much for a lightning? I do plan on rebuilding it over the next year or so:??:

I'd be more concerned with the pulley, who tuned it, does it have the programmer?
the mileage wouldnt worry me at all.

they dont have info on it... like i said it runs very smooth, idles perfectly, literally just sits still on the gauge, think im gonna do it....

If you buy it, dont get into the boost until you have the tune checked out. Without a tuner you are going to have to buy a tuner either from your tuner or used on the forum here. I would be very leary of buying a mod'd L with no history. 80000 miles or 80 miles
