Plastic intake! (POS) problems

Does any one make a real intake for a 98 GT? That will not smoke my credit card.

real = NOT plastic!

you can also find a bullitt intake..it should work too.

Thanks for the links. But they where all for PI heads. I have the 98 NON PI. And I would not buy anything from RPM. (Don't trust them to know what they are talking about)

They do you just some silicone around the ports and it works. Its a cheap upgrade for some extra power. I would just wait and do PI heads awsell though.

LOL Its my G/f's GT. And the last time I popped the hood on my Lightning to "check out" some thing, I spent 10K on go fast goodies. She would kill me.
I think I will stick to the intake for now.

Well it didnt know that. Regardless if you dont care just replace it with the new with the updated manifold with the metal coolant crossover. Pi or not they have both now for sale.
