Pivot bolts

I have a 97 teksid block that i am using for my build. I bought a 4v timing kit from MMR and the timing chain pivot guide will not go onto my pivot bolts in the bolt. Now my understanding is that ford changed the size in 98 right? Im confused and need some help

Sorry I wrote this in a hurry. Yes it was the dowel pin for the timing chain guide. I found out that some of the dowels were larger in 96+97 so I had to get the right ones. Ordered a set from mmr
