Pitted Chrome FR500's

I need some help. Anyone know how to remove pitting from chrome rims? I'll post pics soon.:??:

I've used the powerball or the never dull with pretty good results.


I've used both of them. I got nothing. I'm sure that I'm gonna have to sand this out in some way. Just don't have any experience with this on Chrome. Done it with polished aluminum but not sure if the results on chrome are gonna be bad or not.:??:

I have the same issue with my chrome lightning replicas. There is some pitting on the inside of them that I would love to hide.

dont sand your chrome.the scratches will looks worse than just living with the pitting.once you have pitting it usually leads to rust that will grow under the chrome plating and then it will start to flake off.the only real way to fix it is to have the chrome removed, the pitting filled and then rechromed.

Sucks to hear. Not even a year old yet. They never really got that dirty and I did keep the polished. AmericanMuscle FTL
