Thanks for posting. In three deployments, I dont remember a cycle with so many bolters. Usually they are so infrequent, that pilots who have one get razzed pretty bad. But it looks like that night, they were grading on a curve. It's hard to say,though. I don't know what they edited. It took me back though. I could almost smell the JP mixed with the oh so unique carrier smell.

Awesome. Recognize a lot of the VMFA 232 guys. The Marine Hornets in this video. They were the Hornet Squadron in Afghanistan with us on our most recent deployment. This footage was on their previous deployment in 2007. Rolling deck not too bad, pitching deck sucks. Especially at night, even for helo guys. Glad to be in a dirt Squadron now. Definately don't miss the boat.
