piston slap sound clip

was wondering if anyone has a sound clip of piston slap?
i took it to the dealer and the cobra sat overnight but they said they didnt hear anything. seems like if the car sits longer the tapping sound is louder and last longer before it warms up. i know its not a normal sound because it just started a few weeks ago. thanks guys

The best way I can describe it...is shaking a metal can full of 10p nails vigorously, or in one of it's worst iterations, it sounds like a diesel.

Mine has it too after sitting for 4 or more hours on cold startup. Lasts until warm.

They said they didn't hear it. I can hear it 25 feet away. Oh well.

Maybe I'll trade in for a Saab 9-3 Turbo.

Again try some Royal Purple 5-30,it cant hurt can only help.Its quited down many an LS1 motor,some that had bearing knock,piston slap and some with 130k HARD miles and poor maintenance,combined with a hard life bouncing off the rev ltr. 1 time to many.Dave S.
