pistol grip shifter

Hey guys, my son and I were at a mopar show last weekend and we saw some of those pistol grip shifters, he thought those were the cooest thing! He asked if we could get on for the Cobra. Does anyone have one and do you like it? I have seen them in billet alum. but those dont look comfortable and may be hot to the touch.

Looking for the 60's 70's style not so much the brass knuckles style.

I've never seen the older style pistol grip in a newer car. I did have a Hurst shifter with a Pistol Grip/brass knuckle grip and it was pretty comfortable but the shifter sucked. I tried the grip on a Pro 5.0 shifter but the grip was on a odd angle and uncomfortable so I went back to the stock knob.

I have the Xtreme Pistol Grip from UPR on my Tri-Ax, first to second is tough because of the angle but everything else is fine.
