Its hard to tell from the pics, but is the engine bolted directly to the frame with the rear swing-arm attached to it? Another words, is the engine an integral part of the chassis?

yes it is, the swing arm bolts to the engine. it's also a single sided swing arm which is sweet

you will miss the high reving bikes.. thats why i have both :) (1000RR and a V twin RC51).. O and the 929...

It is going in the right direction. Look above the M in Michelin and after "radial" and you will see tiny arrows on the edge of the tire pointing the direction of rotation.

If thats the case then why is the tread facing one way on the front tire and the opposit way on the rear tire?

Just the way the Pilot Powers are. :shrug: Mine are the same. I initially mounted the front like the rear but then noticed after it was all bolted up. Had to do it again. LOL
