He still has a long way to go but here are some more recent pics.
It has a lightly modded [Chevy] 400(sorry) with a 4L80E trans.

He just put the 6-71 blower on his racecar but has been having some trouble getting it to run just right. Ran 6.29@112 1/8 mile busting up off the line. Ran 6.3Xs @ 105mph with a different [N/A] motor. Needs some fuel and timing adjustments plus a blower cam and some bigger headers. He is pretty disinterested in it already and wants to put a "bracket motor" back in it :(

look the old fords, but im more of a fan when people make the "rat rods" out of them more than returning them into the more or so "stock" form

Looks good, quite different than any of '30's pickups I've seen.

Do you have any more pictures of the front end of the frame? Me and my father are working on a '35 right now. Nothing anywhere as drastic as yours, but the frame length is an issue for not wanting to cut into/grind the firewall on the cab.

This is ours before taking it apart and getting the body ready, and doing cab work:

oh sorry. he modified some frame rails that he already had laying around for another vehicle. (Not sure what) With the extra length he didn't run into any firewall problems.
