Yeah, I can't image any benifit in getting 17's. If you are going to change, the cost will be close, the wieght is negligible, and the looks are WAY better with 18's.

Tires are a SHITLOAD cheaper. And you'll have better traction with 17's.

Having said that though, they just don't look right. Here a few pictures of them on a Sonic Blue 03 that I had saved to my computer many months ago.

Yeah, you're right, I didn't think about that. I buy quite a few of my tires from ebay with 5-7 10ths of tread left on them so they aren't expensive for me either way.

definitely go 18s if you get saleens. some wheels look good in 17s but definitely NOT saleens IMO

sorry, I'm lame...i'm married with kids. i would prefer to get 18's but the cost of tires prohibits that. this is a daily driver and i can't spend $800 every 3 years.

looking at the pics, I don't think the 17" look that bad, i have seen worst...i do agree the 18's look better.

so the question is what is the best looking 17" rim?

Don't get Saleens in 17s. I would just go with Cobra Rs, or FR 500s instead.

17's on our style you can get away with, but i agree that saleens need to be 18's. you could stagger them 17 front and 18 rear

why does it hafta be ford wheels, theres alota other brands that make awsome 17's and you dont look like everyone else.
