Thank you, and no I'm going to leave the car stock other than the things I've already purchased for it. I've got some saving to do.. OEM European blinkers (replaced the ugly amber blinkers in the bumper) 10" alpine type r + audiobahn amp Plasti dipped grill K sport coilovers (still need to install) 997 turbo wheels I have a "carbon fiber" sheet (3m dinoc, not the cheap pep boys stuff) that I'm considering doing the center section of the roof and the B pillars in, but we'll see. Thank you, I appreciate that, although I really love your mach so we'll call it even  VWs are hit or miss reliability wise from what I've seen (read), so it sounds like you've got yourself a keeper  The CC has a 2.0T that's rated at 200 hp, mine is just front wheel drive but I did opt for the DSG transmission (twin clutch automatic) and the dealership threw in an ipod charger/connector thing for it. Sticker was $29750 or something IIRC, but my lease payments are cheaper than they were for a 24k GTI!! It only weighs ~3350 lbs, so it's surprisingly quick. Much faster than I had anticipated it being. The other nice thing is that it really beats out the EPA estimates (21/31 mpg) for city/highway. I get about 23-26 city depending on stop/go traffic, and I've gotten 36 mpg highway. I fill it with midgrade gas too since I'm never flogging the thing. It's a really really nice car to drive though, smooth, composed and quiet. Stock stereo isn't bad, and it came with a touch screen LCD head unit and headed seats standard which was awesome.
