Well here are the pics from the Stangnet LS-1 shootout. We had a great time and there were plenty of great cars. I have a few pics of everyone that was there that I got to meet and some that I didn't. Over all there was a great bit of fast 12.xx Lightnings that the pictures didn't come out because of that reason. Also in attendance was an 88 fox body that launched itself like was on an aircraft carrier to an amazing 9.88. Also not pictured was a 10.xx single turbo Titan motorsports turbo, a guy in a lightning with a passenger that paddled down the track as they passed a Stangnets own Focus, and a 8.xx capable trans am. Anyway here are some of the pics, and don't be surprised to find some very lackluster times, as track prep was well.......what seems to be unheard of at MMP.

Uncle Meat's ride.

I will have more pics as soon as my photo host stops being gay and not letting me post more pics. Sorry NMRAcer I have pics but it won't let me up load them. I have a few pics of a turbo 98 cobra, NMRAcer's car almost pulling the tires, A torch red beauty, and a couple of my friends cars whooping ass.

Well as promised here are more pics of the whole deal. Sorry for the little bursts of pics, but I can only get a few on the host site at a time. Well here are as many as I can get for right now.
This guys stang was a great little sleeper. It looked very stock, but obviously you can see that there is a little surprise under the hood in the amt. of 490 rwhp and 560 rwtq. Best time of the day was a run in the 12.3 range.

It was a great day for me. Had a good time met some good mustang people. It was the first time for the Marauder to be on the track and when I started to get my act together the car did what I hope it would do. My time mite not be the greatest for now but for a 4200lb car a drive weighing 245 I felt 13.4 was not bad. Need some tire's and I thing I can get 13.0 to12.99 on a good day. To you all that don't know it is S/C.
Thanks Bob

I was there in the Silver lightning that the passenger paddle on the focus!! No offense to the focus owner we were just trying to have some fun!! Cause we were bummed the track wasn't hooking! My best pass was a 12.89 really really babying it out of the hole!! The track SUCKED and was not prepped at all the best 60ft was 2.0 usually I run low 1.7's!! But I still had a great time! That was my buddy in the Supra it ended up running 10.3 @ 141 and the driving home 3 hrs getting 26 mpg makes me sick!!!

Hey guys thanks for finding this thread. Bob you scared the hell out of me with your first run. But you really light up the track when you reved that marauders supercharged monster. Brad.....I was on top of the roof and I laughed until I almost took the short way down. That was the funniest thing that I have seen in a long while. Oh yeah by the way the Focus that ya'll raced was Mike Rayburns' (owner of Stangnet) coworker buddy.... I remember that focus beign at the last one and from over at the shop in Auburn. I had a great time and am glad ya'll did too. Hey if anyone has more pics please throw them up.

Damn Whitten! I'm really late on this thread! Yeah MMP was a lot of fun as always...but the track prep was non-existant! I went from 1.9 60' on stock Goodyear F1's to 2.1 & 2.2 60' on Nitto 315 DR's!

Here are a couple vids I shot from right on the starting line. One good or bad thing about MMP (depends on how you look at it) is there relatively lackadaisical attitude when they have these semi-private events.

The website where these videos are posted goes up and down like a good ho... If you can't download a vid, try back later...

Be sure to right-click and save as...

This is Edgar's [email protected] run.

Cobra Killer's 13.19 in a STOCK Mach I, just a set of DR's!

Here's the Supra running a 10.66@140 - I thought his turbo was gonna suck me in on the burnout!

I'd post a vid of one of my runs, but they all SUXORED!

I was the red Lightning that went boom and shut the track down for over an hour :loser:

If my rods had stayed in the block it would have been more fun that day:nonono:
