Today our local SVTOA Chapter (NASHVILLE) had a fundraiser for Hollowtip429 SVTOA/SVTP member.

For a weeks notice we had a gret turn out and raised some good $$$ to help a buddy out.

On August 12/13th his home suffered a sever fire, it was a total loss. His 2003Cobra and 2006 Mustang GT were both lost in the fire along with all of his personal possessions.

Wow, what a shame!! Things could have been worse, he could have been home at the time .

Man that really is a shame. They will definitely be in my prayers to get back on their feet.

If you've never been in that situation before.. let me tell you its horrible. Before I transferred off for my last couple years of college (probably 19ish) I was helping my parents build their log home. About a month or less before they were able to finish up on it and move in, the second story caught fire. The complete upstairs was a loss and the whole downstairs was badly water damaged. Its the most awful feeling to know that everything you've worked so hard for is gone.

Like Divine said, they are so lucky they weren't home at the time.

You guys did a great thing to help them out. Props to you!

man that does suck. thank god there was no loss of life, everything else is replaceable.
i would imagine his home owners insurance will replace just about everything his lost
