I picked up the car on Tuesday around noon. Drove the car from Tucson to the house. All I have to say is, you can' really appreciate this car until you drive it!!!!!!!!
No pull, no vibe, just a bad azz black vert. I have been driving it for two days know have about 400 miles on it. Trying to break it in before I really run it. I have been keeping the RPM's under 3K for the most part. Occasionally heat cyclying the car up to 4k and 5k. :coolman:
Left the lot with "Bad to the Bone" playing. Awww man it was/is sweet. At the first light guy in a 2k2 SS pulls up beside me gives me a thumbs up.
Wife flew with me to get the car. She is scared of it already. This is a good thing. She won't be tempted to drive it. I asked her on the way home if she wanted the wheel she said, "Uh-uh this thing scares me."
Don't know who said they could not break the tires loose. I broke the tires loose with the traction control on about a block away from the dealership. Probably has something to do with road surfaces out here (Usually dusty).
I took a few pics and must share. I think you will like them. I stopped at one of my favorite rest areas and shot the pics. If you have ever been on I-10 between Tucson and El Paso you'll know the spot.... Check it out.
