The smile of a truly happy guy.

Loaded up for the journey. Picked it up in Gulfport, MS to take it home (Jax, FL). Also got a few barrels of race fuel and brand new slicks.

When I have the chance I'll detail and clean up the engine bay how I like it, but a shot for now.

Now some nice quick cell phone pictures of the car

This weekend hopefully I'll have the time to start detailing everything inside and out. I have some goodies already to install on the car. I need to add the start up video to this thread, thing sounds and drives like an absolute monster.

I wouldn't say gave up. I would actually take a modular motor over the LS7 any day.

However my Cobra was just going to involve quite a bit of my time and effort to have complete.. and living in a downtown loft I don't have the luxury of having my own garage to work on the car. So I sold the shortblock for the race engine (14:1 CR nitrous 328ci teksid) and I'm going to be parting out the build.

I'm keeping the rolling chassis since it has a fresh 10pt cage put into it, and in a few years when I get my own house I'll pick it back up again.

It's been too many years of not having a loud cammed car and it's literally depressing.

Love it. S77's look at home on that car. Can't wait to see more videos and pics of it. I follow him on Insta, always really liked that car.

The supervette body kit looks great. Does it still have the D1SC?

Thanks! When I get the chance I'm sending the rears to Weld to have beadlocks added to it, think it'll look perfect once that happens.

Badin is a great friend of mine and I've been a huge fan of this build from the very beginning, which makes owning this vehicle special to me. Follow me on instagram, got lots of carbon fiber to go in it! IG: mericah_cs
