I took my truck to a local bodyshop to have my passenger side door repainted and I noticed that both of my windows on my Lightning go down and up much slower and when in the middle it moves very slow, it almost stops. I was wondering what could the shop have done to make this happen? The only worked on one door, so why do both windows behave this way??

Any thought? I am wondering how I can approach them about this?

Does it sound like it binds?

Just go back and say "Hey my window is really slow to rollup since you've repaired my truck."

If you do not get this corrected you will need new motors and they are only sold as an assembly, part of the regulator assembly. It won't be cheap if you do not get it corrected.

Just a shot in the dark but try waxing the outside of the windows. I've had to do that a few times on my 91GT when my motors were ailing. My dew wipes were dragging on the outside of the glass.
