This is a first, I did a search and found nothing for any expansion tank issues. The problem is the rod on the rear mount of the tank that goes by the fans. When the tank is mounted on the front two studs and level it misses the rear rod. Its almost as if the mount should have been welded lower on the tank.
If I go to push it down, it makes the tank extremely unlevel and looks as though it would bend the front mounts where they are welded. I thought of using a spacer/washers between the rod and bottom of the mount, but its missing it so much I would not even be able to thread the nut on there in order to keep it level.
Any advice with this? I tried moving the rod up, but it starts hitting the fans as well.............:dw:
