Is anyone interested in participating in a group complaint to SVT about the '03 T/O bearing problem? WAY too many of us have had early replacement (9 as I count it) and I think we should petition Ford to come up with a fix. Ford has been making clutches for high-powered cars for 40 years - we should have benefited from this experience.
I used to work/run a service department for a dealership that represented five manufacturers. Almost all mfgrs. were responsive to complaints when the mfgr. knew that the customers all knew that other customers were having a similar issue. (The exception was Renault, but they're French, so that explains that.:burn: )
I don't think any of us want to be in the position of affording an "annual clutch replacement" after we go out of warranty. I'll draft up a complaint we can all subscribe to if we get a group that is interested.
