I usually do the tire shine last thing so it has time to soak in/dry overnight before I drive it again. Really helps with the slingin :beer:

chrome looks good still, i love cobras with saleens but that's me. black looks sexy too though, either way you can't go wrong long as you put some black magic on your tires........

First off the car looks amazing!! Look into "Adams polishes VRT tire shine" apparently that stuff doesn't fling off the tires. I just ordered a bottle to try lol

I like the black just add tire shine, Meguires Hot is what I use and it doesn't spray the side if you wipe them down after you apply it.

I tried chrome on mine for a couple of weeks and it just looked strange....

OP car looks great. i have to admit though, i think i do like the chrome wheels on there a little better. but that's my personal taste. looks good both ways. but as mentioned, get some black letters to match the wheels.


oh, and before someone else rags you about it, you should get some tire shine :thumbsup:

Croftgate Usa Tire Cleaner & Dressing

try this stuff, it doesn't leave too much shine or film. no matter what you use it's gonna leave some on the paint but that can be easily wiped off. i even use it on my rims.
