Car: '12 5.0 roush stage 2 with 373's and MT82
Installed the Beef cake Paxton 2200sl with 3.8 pulley and on E-85. Hitting 5th at the track. Car makes 663RWHP
I will be mounting a hoosier qtp 28in tire with matching front runners. I am installing gears. What would you guys put into the car. Here are my calculations with a 28 in tire. Only ran the car a few times, letting out before the 1000ft line due to my 5th gear wont ever go into gear when hit hard. (I'll be rebuilding trans and new clutch soon) Went 11.3 @ 122 but as I said that was letting off on the rev limiter top of 4th.
28in tall tire -
373's in 4th @ 120 (remove)
315's in 4th @ 142
331's in 4th @ 136
All around 7100 RPMS
I am thinking 331's to be able to get off the line and into those higher gears...
Suggestions? Or am I making to big of a deal about this, just put one or the other in. Thanks!
