People that blew a rod what year was your truck?

Hey, Just wondering how many 99 and 00 guys blew a rod. Have heard of none so far when people blow there engines that were 99/00. Heard also that there were stronger/different rods used for those years.

Please only vote if you threw a rod, and post details as well

Same thing was floating around on F150 too.

I voted (yea - first) with my 02. I didn't notice that I was first and looked at the graphs. It was like "Shit - all of them have been 02's" :loser: Guess I was right - all 1 of them.

Lol, Yah I saw the one at f150, but no one with a 99/00 said they shot one.

I shot 4 of them :-D. I put 2 through the side of the block and two more were in the pan, about the size of popcorn.

Everyone that voted on the 2000 blowing a Rod was confused, the 2000 SVT Lightning rods are made from super unbreakable really strong stuff, and can not blow under any circumstances. jfyi
