*********** UPDATE ***********

I made an appointment and took the car in this morning. Dropped it off at 8am, and by 10am, the car was ready for pick-up with new buttons installed under warranty!

Thanks for the input fellas!

******************************

10,000 miles on my 2011, and my right side buttons have been peeling as a result of what looks like manufacturing defects (bubbling) as you can see in the pictures.

Has anyone had this problem, and then had Ford replace them under warranty?
Trying to see if its even worth the trouble, or if I should just buy a new set myself because it will only be deemed normal wear and tear.

Thanks,
-Eric

The bubbling is very obvious in this picture on the top right corners of the two right buttons.

Not sure if Ford will cover them or not, but do you use any "products" on your hands? sanitizer/lotions etc. I deal with this quite often on MB cars. I'm at 20k on my 12 with zero wear on my buttons and I use the radio stuff everytime I'm in the car.

did you get something on them?

Not that I am aware of.

Typically, no. I thought about this, but I use the cruise control buttons quite frequently on the highway, and they still look brand new.

My 2011 GT did that with just 2k miles. Was going to take it in soon but I think I will just buy the GT500 wheel instead

I have the same problem. It is a bubble problem. When my car only had 500 miles on it the center by the shifter bubbled and ford replaced it. Now my buttons look the same. I am going in next time I get a chance to have them change those too.
