I was curious if a 5.1 channel pc headset would work with an xbox or not?

Try it out and report back.
Don't have an Xbox. Trying to sell a headset and someone was asking. I found some 5.1 headsets for the xbox, but it looked like they came with a converter box of some sort. Didn't see anything definitive.
