97 I am parting was rtailroaded pretty good... was hit a few times, not reapaired right, engine smokes on startup... I am parting engine I dont want someone to get a "bad" engine whole...

I might be mistaken, but isn't there something that plugs into the back of the speed sensor? There is a place for a plug, and due to my recent build, I assumed it got lost in the process somewhere. I might just need to replace the nylon cogs in the cluster, but I thought this was likely my issue. Doing some research. If nothing plugs into the back of it there, then disregard my request. Thanks.
