Painted the "underhood" myself

So when I bought my Cobra it did not have the hood insulation and hood looked like crap.I desided to try and paint it myself so I ordered some paint from the local auto parts store according to the color code.
I am very pleased with the result and topped it of with some decals.Total time for the work was about 1 hour and cost about 30$

did you remove the hood ? looks great, its on my list of things to do before spring

I think i would have sanded it with 800 grit , atleast, and then primer sand with 1000 grit and then paint. Hopefully it dosent bubble with the heat in there.

Cut those heat extractor vent flaps off! Unless you like creating a bottle neck for heat extraction...

Looks good btw.

I wanted to do it the easy way,we will see what happens.This is a street/track car so my priorities are els were.
