Painted Faux Gas Cap black

Hey guys I just wanted to share with you a weekend mod I worked on recently. I had previously plasti dipped the chrome piece of the gas cap black and didn't love how the flat black blended with the gloss of the surrounding deck lid. I took the time this weekend to remove the deck lid and properly paint the gas cap gloss black. I think it turned out well!

Be careful if you're removing it though, as that faux gas cap only comes with that entire applique from ford.

Yeah removing the rear panel to get it separated to paint was a royal pita. To be honest, if I have to touch it back up or had it to do again, I would take around it and just cover up the car and paint it while on the car. Would be much less hassle.

As far as paint I used Krylon Fusion for plastic.
