My lead just picked up a 17 black on black 350 and while we were going over it. I noticed where it looks like the lack of paint on both doors, around the edges of the door on the Inside. Also on the frame where the door to body weather stripping is. The passenger side looks like it should. Also around the hinges on the trunk. Just wondering if others are having the same issues. He's going back to the dealer on Thursday

I had an issue with my paint as well from the factory, on my passenger side door edge the paint had a run in it and they cleared right over it. Ford took care of it, they had me take to a body shop of my choice and they repaired it. Take it to the dealer and have them cover it under the warranty.

I haven't seen it on a GT350, I have seen it on plenty of other vehicles. Focus' tend to have the issue a lot. The bottom of the rear driver door is typically the culprit.

I know but maybe they should take some extra care or ad a quaity control step in the process for the chassis they know will be selling at a premium price as a premium product.

They go through the same paint process as the $23k Mustang V6.

Well, I believe every vehicle that Ford or the other manufacturers sell is a premium product at a premium price.

Just because a new Fiesta is $15k, doesn't mean that it can have paint issues, etc, just because it's a cheaper car.

I just sold a F-450 King Ranch that had an MSRP of $83k, and I would expect the same fit and finish on that as I would a Fiesta.
