P0455 and what I've noticed.

I get P0455 (Emissions leak large) from time to time.

I did notice I only get it when right above 1/2 tank or lower. If I keep the car close to full it will never come on.

Changed the fuel cap but I'm thinking isn't there a tank vent to the canister or something?
Leak there since it is tank level related?

thoughts or ideas?

While we're at it I get a slight vibration in the steering only under acceleration. The harder and lower gears the more you feel it.
Gut tells me passenger side CV shaft.
Also feels a little worse if turning while giving gas.

I can tell you this that the evap monitor only runs when fuel level is between 15-85%. That why light wont come on when fuel tank is full. You really a smoke tester to find an evap leak. I believe some guys have made their own setup.
