Can't make up my mind on tires sizes for my wheels that are 18X9 all around. Torn between 245/40 front 275/35 rear or the other option of 255/40fr. 285/35r. Last option is 275/35 all around (not big on 275's on front & don't want 265's). The two concerns I have are the 245/40's being to small & the 285/35's being to large for the 9 inch rims. I know all tires are sized different some big some small. Car is a Sunday cruizer. All input will be greatly appreciated.

a friend of mine has 275/35 rear and 245/40 front and it looks like the 245's are taller in the front than the 275's. I had 265/35's on the front of my car before and LOVED them. the car handled great with this tire size on a 18x9. I would do the 265/35 front and the 275/35 rear or maybe a wider tire for the rear.

I'm running 275/35/18's all the way around on 18x9 Y2K R's. No issues at all.
